MY SIP EXPERIENCE

7.20.20

Today was the first day of SIP, and I met many new people this morning. We were also introduced the html basics. HTML is a markup language, therefore it isn't actually, really code. However, it does allow us to structure out content in a rudimentary way which is very useful for website designers. After class, we were told to research a woman in tech and learn about her experiences, before planning out our own websites, and completing the html portion of it.

Today was the second day of SIP, and we learned how to use CSS in creating the design of the layout. If you don't feel any pain from staring at this page, CSS is probably the reason why. That, or because the colors I picked were to your taste. We can achieve a lot with CSS, instead of going into the html and styling it individually, we can class elements together, and subject them to a mass change in our CSS section.

Today was the third day of SIP, and this is me talking from the past. We are supposed to learn Javascript today, but our websites will have been done by this point. I hope to enjoy the rest of this program as well!
